"SALLY'S GARDEN" at HERITAGE PARK

If you go to the intersection of Old Trenton Rd. and S. Main St. in nearby Cranbury and head north on S. Main St, after about 100 yards you'll come to the entrance to Heritage Park. This is a small quiet park that features a tree lined walkway that circles a grassy meadow. The walkway is probably about 1/2 mile all the way around. There are many benches and the Tercentennial Fountain area (with a non working fountain).

In certain parts, the walkway goes past a number of backyards of Cranbury homes that stretch along S. Main St. If you walk along the walkway clockwise, after about 100 yards you'll come to an interesting place... for want of a better name, let's call it "Sally's Garden", because Sally is the owner. There is a very noticeable wooden arch entrance into the garden and everyone is invited to enter.

Sally says she has collected all the items in the garden over the years, mostly from garage sales or items that people no longer wanted. One thing is for sure, Sally puts a lot of work into her garden.
Sally used to keep a "Guest Sign In" book at the entrance, but removed it recently because of the virus outbreak. Everyone is welcome to walk around the garden. Sally has one rule - "Look, but don't touch".
