"Making photographs for me is always a matter of being aware of my surroundings. Whether on vacation or out and about, down at the shore or taking a walk in any of the many parks in our area, or simply shopping I always keep my eyes open for potential photo opportunities. The photos that accompany this article demonstrate how I find an extraordinary image in ordinary surroundings." Dan |
"Dare to experiment. This can be as simple as when photographing something don't just shoot and go. Move around the subject, move in closer, change your point of view. You may find that the first photo is simply a “record shot”. But when you explore further you find that the ordinary record shot has now transformed into something extraordinay."
